To provide a toothbrush consisting of a constitution wherein the heads of bristles are cut along the middle lines of teeth in such a way that plaque, calclus, etc., do not stick to the surfaces of tooth necks ridges and teeth without wounding them and a constitution wherein a bundle of bristles is roughly set.

The constitution of the toothbrush by which food residue and plaque can be removed only by applying a light force in the heads of the bristles is such a constitution that under a condition where the outer side faces of the teeth are brushed with the heads of the bristles, peaked top lines 8 are planted at positions corresponding to the deepest ends and the rearmost ends of the teeth being the objects to be brushed, and the adjoining side channels of the teeth from the apex end part 2 of a plate 1 for planting the bundle of the bristles to the rear end part 4 thereof and the bundles of the bristles with an arrangement for plating arc-like lines 9 between each pair of the peaked top lines 8 are put in the order of dentes molares, dentes premolares and dentes incisivi and the heads of the bristles are cut into arc-like shapes along the middle lines of the teeth ridges and the teeth tops on the outer side faces of the teeth.
