Abstract:
To provide a new treating method for improving the treating effect by performing a chemical treatment act in addition to a physical treatment.
This tooth brush is composed of a gripping part 1, a shaft part 2 installed in the gripping part 1, a brush part 4 composed of a plurality of bristles installed in the shaft part 2, and a light source part 5 arranged in the vicinity of the brush part 4 in the shaft part 2, and emitting light in the direction of the brush part 4. Excessive immunological reaction of a body to periodontal bacteria is restrained by the irradiation of a gum part with light performed in tooth-brushing, to thereby protect a periodontium from destruction of a biological tissue by the excessive immunological reaction.
