Abstract:
To provide a toothbrush which facilitates tapering by mechanical polishing, improves cleaning properties in interdental parts or the like, and allows a user to easily understand a brushing site of teeth.SOLUTION: In a toothbrush in which a plurality of brush bristles 10 constituted by using a synthetic resin filament are implanted in an implanting base 2, the toothbrush includes such the brush bristle 10 that the filament is constituted by using a resin material obtained by melting and mixing polybutylene terephthalate in polytrimethylene terephthalate, that a tapered part 11 is formed by mechanical polishing in a range from 30 to 70% of a bristle height H of the brush bristle 10 from a tip end 12 of the brush bristle 10 to a side of the implanting base 2, and that the plural pieces of brush bristles 10 implanted in the implanting base 2 have arithmetic line roughness Ra exceeding 1.5 μm in a range of 0.1 mm toward the side of the implanting base 2 from a site of 0.1 mm from the tip end 12 to the side of the implanting base 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
