Title:
TOOTHBRUSH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3503987
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To fix and hold a twisted wire shaft part of a brush by fitting a latch in a hole, and receiving the twisted wire shaft part by a hole arranged in a retainer and a groove arranged in a handle.
CONSTITUTION: A toothbrush has a handle 20 to which a locking retainer 22 is connected by a duplex rotary hinge 24. An erected latch 44 is arranged on the retainer 22, and a corresponding holding hole 46 is formed in the handle 20 in a position where a latch 42 engages when the retainer 22 turns to a closing position from an opening position. A groove 40 starts from a position dislocated to a hole 36 facing part from a tail end part of land sandwiching a shaft part ST, and extends to the opposite side of a position of a hole 36. Therefore, the shaft part ST of a wire comining out of the hole 36 is sandwiched between two flat surfaces close to the hole 36, and the rear side more than its sandwiched part is housed in the groove 40. Therefore, an end part of the shaft part ST is stably held, and a rear end part of the shaft part ST is shut up in the groove 40 so as to check a rebound of the wire, and the brush can be easily installed.
