PURPOSE: To prevent a large quantity of squeeze residual from being left in a toothpaste container by providing a toothbrush with a presser body, which advances in a grip by interlocking with an operation body on the outer face of the grip, and its fixing holding means.

CONSTITUTION: This toothbrush is used by storing a soft toothpaste container 6 in the inside of a cylindrical grip 1. An operation body 3 is advanced with the hand after removing a cap 5, a presser body 4 coupled with the operation body 3 is also advanced so that the rear part of the toothpaste container 6 is pressed by the presser body 4 in turn, and the toothpaste is squeezed out on a brush hair transplantation part 21. This constitution can prevent a large quantity of squeeze residual of the toothpaste from being left in the toothpaste container 6 so as to use up the whole amount of the toothpaste without any waste. The operation body 3 is pressedly moved in the direction crossing with the longitudinal direction of a slit 11 so that a connection part 30 coupled with the bottom of this operation body 3 is fitted into a recessed part 12 of a grip 1 so as to be lockedly held. The operation body 3 and the presser body 4 are thus fixedly held in their advance position so that excessive outflow of the toothpaste from the toothpaste container 6 can be avoided. Unprepared retreat of the operation body 3 and the presser body 4 can be also prevented.
