To provide a belt preventing abrasion of belt tooth cloth and a crack of a tooth part caused under a high load, and restraining a frictional sound generated between a pulley flange and a belt side surface when pushing a motorcycle by hand-push.
This toothed belt for driving a motorcycle rear wheel has a belt body 3 including a plurality of tooth parts 7 arranged at a predetermined interval in the belt longitudinal direction and a back part embedded with a conductor 9 and using rubber as a base material, and tooth cloth 11 for covering a surface of the plurality of tooth parts 7. The tooth cloth has a multiple-woven structure of weaving the warp and at least two kinds of wefts. The warp is nylon fiber, and the weft positioned on the surface side of the tooth cloth among the two kinds of wefts, is fluorine-based fiber. Low boiling point fiber softening or melting at the vulcanization temperature of the belt body, is arranged around the fluorine-based fiber. An inclination is applied with a tooth part side end part of the conductor as a starting point toward an addendum 13 so that a dimension in the width direction of the tooth part becomes smaller than a dimension in the width direction on the belt back face side.
