To provide a toothed belt in which the surface of a toothed part of a belt main body formed of rubber composition is coated with fiber fabric with reduced friction resistance of the fiber fabric over a long period to improve a service life of the toothed belt.
This toothed belt comprises a plurality of tooth parts 3 disposed at a prescribed interval along a length direction, a back part 2 where a core wire 1 is embedded, and tooth cloth 4 covering the surface of the tooth parts 3. As the tooth cloth 4, unprocessed fiber fabric is impregnated in a first processing liquid of RFL processing liquid to be dried. It is then impregnated in a second processing liquid comprising rubber cement containing carbon nanotubes 23 to be dried. After a coating rubber layer is attached, these are integrated by vulcanization and pressurization.
