Abstract:
To provide a durable toothed belt that prevents chipping of belt teeth and developing of cracks from a back rubber layer and transmits high load power.
The toothed belt 10 comprises a tooth rubber layer 12, an adhesive rubber layer 22, and the back rubber layer 16. The adhesive rubber layer 22 has core wires 18 embedded therein and extending in the longitudinal direction of the belt. The adhesive rubber layer 22 has short fibers 40 mixed therein and oriented in the direction of the thickness of the belt. The tooth rubber layer 12 and back rubber layer 16 do not have short fibers mixed therein.
