To provide a toothed cable capable of reducing sliding noise by surely sliding yarn on an inner surface of a guide member without cut loss and holding the yarn in a groove while maintaining flexibility of the yarn without adhesion.
In the toothed cable which is provided with a core cable, a wire spirally wound around the core cable at a fixed pitch, a core thread and a pile fixed to the core thread and is formed of yarns spirally wound around a groove, the pile is arranged toward a radial outer direction from the core thread so as to come into contact with the sidewall surface and has a length to project to the outside of the groove when spirally winding the yarn around the groove containing a sidewall surface and bottom formed of the core cable and wire. The space from the center of the core thread to the bottom is made shorter than that from the center of the core thread before being wound to the tip of the pile.
