Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide top board attaching structure for desk capable of easily and tightly attaching a top board to the upper end face of sleeve part or leg part through one action without the existence of any projection on the upper end face of sleeve part or leg part and the lower surface of top board before assembly work, simplified in structure by sharing the attaching structure between the sleeve part and the leg part and further, and unnecessary to remove any drawer in the case of separating the sleeve part from the leg part.
SOLUTION: In this top board attaching structure for desk, a lock edge 16 opening its fore side is formed at the rear part of upper end face of sleeve part 2 or leg part, forward hooks 19 and 20 of lock metal fixture 5 are engaged and attached from the rear side to lock holes 10 and 11 formed on a reinforcing member 7 laterally installed behind a top board 11, and an engage pawl 21 extended to the rear side of lock metal fixture 5 is slid, inserted and locked from the oblique fore side to the lock edge 16. Then, the fore part of upper end face of sleeve part 2 or leg part and a reinforcing memnber 8 laterally installed in front of the top board 1 are engaged while being recessed by an engageign tool 6.
