Abstract:
To provide a top board support device sufficiently supporting a peripheral part of a top board by a frame, allowing a user to seat on a short side of the top board, and, when a plurality of top boards are consecutively provided, capable of firmly connecting them by a minimum number of components by just replacing leg bodies.SOLUTION: The top board support device is so configured that short-side frames 7 are fixed to positions inward from side edges of short-side sides, on a lower surface of a top board 1; upper rods 9 of portal- or square-shaped leg bodies 2 including the at least upper rods 9, are connected to the inside of the short-side frame 7 via connecting brackets 4, and the leg bodies 2 are provided at inward spaced positions of the short-side frame 7. A setback distance D1 from a linear side edge in the short side to the short-side frame is made to match a connection distance D2 between a tip end of the connecting bracket and a central line of the upper rod of the leg bodies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
