To provide a top board with a receptacle box such that even if power and/or communication receptacle with a number of slots are provided on the top board, impairing of top board functions and interference between converters of AC/DC-converter-equipped plugs inserted into the receptacles are prevented and that even if each receptacle has a large number of slots therein, the receptacle box maintains a compact configuration.
The top board 1 is provided with an approximately rectangular opening 4, and a wiring duct 5 is provided in the rear face of the top board 1 corresponding to the opening 4. The receptacle box 7 having a plurality of power receptacles 8 or communication receptacles on a roof type pitched face 7a and formed so that the terminal 7b of the pitched face 7a is located in a floating position from the upper surface of the top board 1 is provided on the front face of the top board corresponding to the opening 4.
