To provide a device which is provided with general versatility and improves workability and easiness of construction for supporting an eave or a roof of a building and the ground, top and bottom of a ceiling and a furniture, an underfloor lumber girder and the ground, and other tops and bottoms of buildings.

A long bolt with only right screw is attached to a retaining plate on the top (bottom) side and a long pipe of a right female thread is welded on the retaining plate on the bottom (top) side. The long bolt and the female thread is screwed together to form a united device and the height adjustment is facilitated during installation or maintenance to improve the workability and the easiness of construction. Also the top and bottom supporting device is provided with general versatility by preparing members taking into consideration the quality of material, radial thickness, length, and external diameter to cope with different heights, loads, or strength which vary depending on the use.
