To provide a top-combustion hot blast stove that has a simple structure and is capable of reducing pressure loss of fuel gas or combustion air supplied.
The top-combustion hot blast stove is equipped with: a covered, cylindrical mixing part 2 having therein a mixing chamber 6 also serving as a burner; and a regenerator that is located below the mixing chamber 6. To lateral periphery of the mixing part 2, a fuel-supplying pipe 14 for blowing the fuel gas into the mixing chamber 6 is connected so as to form a swirl flow in the mixing chamber 6 by laterally blowing the fuel gas into the mixing chamber 6 from a lateral side of the mixing part 2. To a dome cover 2a of the mixing part 2, an air-supplying pipe 13 is connected so as to blow down the combustion air from above the mixing chamber 6 toward the swirl flow of the fuel gas.
