To provide a top and a method for manufacturing the top for improving spinning performance with a simple structure.
The main body of the top comprises a shaft core knob part, a turntable plate part, and a shaft core tip part. The shaft core tip part of the top main body is provided with an engagement hole and a ball is fixedly installed into the engagement hole. The method for manufacturing the top comprises: a process for finishing a knob part by using a lathe; a process for finishing the turntable plate part and the shaft core tip part; a process for providing the engagement hole for the shaft core tip part; and a process for fixedly staking the ball into the engagement hole of the shaft core tip part. According to the method, a center of the ball is fixedly attached onto a center line of the shaft core of the top main body and the top of high performance which does not cause shaft to shake can be obtained.
