PURPOSE: To obtain a molding apparatus good in productivity by providing a work holding hole to a work holding plate and forming an opening guide part to the end part opposite to a cavity plate of the work holding plate.
CONSTITUTION: In such a state that a mold is opened, an insert work 5 is inserted in the work holding hole 9 provided with a taper surface 10 of a work holding plate 7 from the space between a sprue plate 4 and the work holding plate 7. Subsequently, the mold is closed but, during this closing operation, the insert work 5 is pressed by a positioning pin 6 and accurately positioned in such a state that the mold is perfectly closed. Next, a resin is poured into a cavity 12 to be subjected to injection molding. After the completion of molding, the mold is opened but, during this opening process, the work holding plate 7 is stopped at an intermediate part by a connection rod. When the mold is further opened, a cavity plate 13 is moved and a molded product and a runner are thrust out by an ejector pin 15 and a runner ejector pin 16.
