To eliminate instability of string separation at top rotating time by forming a string for rotating a top by being wound round the top in an endless shape, and installing a bearing in a part of the string by an adhesive.

A string constituted by intertwisting, for example, three cotton cords of double yarn of 14 pieces is used as a top rotating string 8, this string 8 is formed in an endless shape, two string parts 6 and 7 formed in an endless shape are opened, and the tip part is divided into string ring parts 3a and 3b. Next, a bearing 1 is installed in these, and the string ring parts 3a and 3b and parts 4 and 5 close to the bearing 1 of the strings 6 and 7 are fixed by an adhesive. A fitting degree of this bearing 1 inner ring 2 and an upper shaft of a top is set not less than a loosely fitting degree. Thus, even if the top sufficiently rotates, since the bearing inner ring 2 maintains an installing state on the upper shaft for a little while, the top can be always held in a constant rotational state.
