Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved top string to be used when a top is turned, and a method for manufacturing the top string.SOLUTION: A top string is made by twisting fibers, strings and ropes of hemp, cotton and a synthetic resin. The invention provides a top string, and a top string manufacturing method: by folding a twisted string 1, or a string base, into halves; separating the string 1 at a center point into halves; binding a twisted string 2 or a twisted string 3 bundled of fibers, yarns or strings having a predetermined length to several portions of the individual sides; twisting the string 1 and a plurality of twisted strings 2 or twisted strings 3 individually; further twisting the twisted strings; finally twisting the strings at hand portions so as not to loosen the strings; and loosening the fibers and so on the opposite side of knots.
