The top toy A consists of a plurality of members assembled in layers, and a lower layer member 1 and an upper layer member 3 are connected turnably through a fitting table 4. On the bottom surface of the lower layer member 1, a main shaft part 5 is formed projecting downward. At this main shaft part 5, a vertically movable shaft 7 is provided. At the fitting table 4, a driving means 11 for vertically moving the movable shaft 7 in association with the turning of the lower layer member 1 is provided. Thus, with the turning of the first layer member 1, the lower end of the movable shaft 7 frequently appears from the lower end of the main shaft part 5.
