Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable topping raw material itself to be efficiently cooled in a topping line cooling device for use in transmitting lunch boxes while the boxes are cooled so as to cause topping raw material loaded sequentially in overlapped state to be applied in the lunch boxes.SOLUTION: This topping line cooling device comprises a casing 12, a belt conveyor 14 arranged at an upper part of the casing 12 to transmit the lunch boxes 50 placed on a transmitting surface, a cooling device 16 arranged within the casing 12 to produce cooling air, a circulation passage 28 for guiding cooling air produced by the cooling device 16 onto the transmitting surface 14a, crossing its transmitting direction, circulating it to return to the cooling device 16 within the casing 12 to form cooling atmosphere lower than surrounding temperature on the transmitting surface 14a, a branch passage 32 for branching the cooling air from a part of the circulation passage 28. The casing 12 is formed with discharging ports 12c, 12d for discharging the cooling air from the branch passage out of the casing 12 and one end of a flexible connecting duct 38 for use in feeding cooling air to overlapping segments 40 can be connected to the discharging ports 12c, 12d.
