Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of sufficiently securing a supply amount of lubricating oil to a bearing contact portion of a bearing for supporting pressing force by a pressing device.SOLUTION: A bearing 210 for supporting a thrust load is provided between an end 201 of an input shaft 1 and a loading cam 46, and an oil filled portion forming member 222 for forming an oil filled portion 221 including bearing contact portions S1, S2 which are contact portions of at least a rolling element 210c and bearing rings 210a, 210b of the bearing 210 is provided between the end 201 of the input shaft 1 and the loading cam 46, and thus, a supply amount of lubricating oil to the bearing contact portions S1, S2 can be sufficiently secured. Therefore, occurrence of damage such as fretting in the bearing contact portions S1, S2 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
