Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission including a loading cam type pressing device capable of suppressing damage of a claw part provided at a cam flange.SOLUTION: On a cam surface 111 of a cam flange 101a and an opposite surface, a plurality of claw parts 105 for power transmission is provided, and the plurality of claw parts 105 and a plurality of concave surfaces 112 of the cam surface 111 are provided with a fixed interval in a circumferential direction of the cam flange 101a. Out of the plurality of claw parts 105, a claw part 105 with a minimum distance in the circumferential direction between itself and a bottom part 112a of any concave surface 112 is arranged so that at least a part of the claw part 105 is overlapped at a position where a distance in the circumferential direction between the claw part 105 and the bottom part 112a is maximum, thereby suppressing damage of the claw part provided in the cam flange.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
