Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type non-stage transmission which can sufficiently secure a lubrication oil in a bearing which allows swinging of a power roller while supporting a load in a thrust direction.SOLUTION: A toroidal type non-stage transmission includes: an input side disc 2 and an output side disc 4; a power roller 11 sandwiched between these discs; a trunnion 15 rotatably supporting the power roller; and a bearing 25 which is provided between an inner surface of the trunnion 15 and an outer surface of an outer ring 28 of the power roller 11 and allows swinging of the power roller 11 while supporting a load in a thrust direction. The inner surface of the trunnion 15 includes: a seal receiving surface 100 provided at the outer side of the bearing 25; and a seal member 110 which is provided at the outer ring 28 and closely contacts with the seal receiving surface 100 to seal the lubrication oil of the bearing 25. Thus, the toroidal type non-stage transmission can sufficiently secure the lubrication oil in the bearing 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
