Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate the service life of a thrust bearing in a toroidal non-stage transmission while even preventing a preload spring from getting stuck, reducing the number of parts.SOLUTION: A toroidal non-stage transmission comprises: a preload spring installed between a body of rotation having a first disk and a pushing device and a power transmission shaft; and a thrust bearing installed between a first member including one of the body of rotation and the power transmission shaft and the preload spring. Between a second member including the other of the body of rotation and the power transmission shaft and the thrust bearing, a gap is formed in the axial direction. The length of the gap in the axial direction is shorter than the deformation of the preload spring in the axial direction within an elastic limit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
