Abstract:
To provide a toroidal transmission capable of decreasing size and weight, and saving costs.SOLUTION: A toroidal transmission is equipped with a variator which has an input disc, an output disc, and a plurality of power rollers sandwiched between these discs. The toroidal transmission is equipped with a power roller driving mechanism which enables the movement of a disc at rotation center of one power roller among the plurality of power rollers and the inclination of the power roller, and a power roller driven mechanism which receives force from contact surfaces of the input disc and the output disc among the plurality of power rollers, and moves other power rollers in a tangential direction of the disc while changing the posture of other power rollers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
