Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing a cam plate with a cam surface from deforming so as to separate from a cam surface on a disc side, in a state of providing an oil reservoir where the cam surface and a cam roller are immersed into lubricant.SOLUTION: A pressing device 100 includes a first cam surface 104 provided on an outside surface of an input side disc 2, a second cam surface 105 opposite to the first cam surface 104, and a cam plate 106 including the second cam surface 105. Also, between the first and second cam surfaces 104, 105, a cam roller 103 is included. Between the first and second cam surfaces 104, 105, provided is a first oil chamber 132 storing lubricant. On an opposite side of the cam plate 106 to the second cam surface 105, provided is a second oil chamber 133 storing lubricant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
