Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type stepless transmission capable of attaining a high responsiveness of a shift operation while suppressing a fine fluctuation (hunting) of a shift operation or an abrupt movement of trunnion due to disturbances.SOLUTION: A hydraulic actuator mechanism 20 for moving a trunnion 54 comprises a firs actuator part 21 and a second actuator part 22 for controlling the action of the one trunnion 54. Of first oil passages 122 and 132 for supplying a working oil to the first actuator part 21 and second oil passages 113 and 114 for supplying the working oil to the second actuator part 22, only the second oil passages 113 and 114 are equipped with throttle parts 115 and 116 for throttling the flow rate of the working oil, so that the first actuator part 21 is used as a shifting operation actuator whereas the second actuator part 22 is used as an attenuating actuator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
