To provide a twisted vibration reduction device and a torque converter installed with the twisted vibration reduction device having a structure in which an avoidance of prevention of reducing and absorbing twisted vibration is attained by a mutual interference through contact with a holding part for holding the reduction member.SOLUTION: A holding member for holding a twisted vibration reduction member from a side surface direction against a vibrating direction of a twisted vibration reduction member is constructed such that a holding portion contacted with the twisted vibration reduction member is shaped to contact with a part of the twisted vibration reduction member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
