Abstract:
To provide a torque converter for restraining booming noise, idle vibration and a judder, in the torque converter having a lockup damper device stored in the torque converter and elastically connecting a turbine runner and a piston.
This torque converter has an auxiliary damper 12 having a coil spring 14 lower in a spring constant than a damper spring 11 of the lockup damper device 10 at an outer peripheral part of a turbine hub 7 fitted with an output shaft 8. The turbine runner 2 and the lockup damper device 10 are connected to the turbine hub 7 by interposing the auxiliary damper 12 between.
