Abstract:
To provide a torque converter capable of improving the starting property of a car and the fuel efficiency in idling.
When the axial length of a stator blade is W and the nominal diameter of a torque converter is D, the ratio W/D of both is set so as to satisfy the following inequality, 0.030≤W/D≤0.052 to increase a torque ratio in stall and decrease the torque capacity coefficient.
