To reduce a flange mode without using friction, and to prevent unpleasant vibration in a power transmission device.
A torque converter includes a first damper stage (110;222) a second damper stage (114;224), a movable flange (112;226) connecting the first damper stage and the second damper stage in a state that they cannot be relatively rotated, an inertial mass element (118;212), and an adjusted torsion damper (120;122;232). The torsion damper connects the inertial mass element and the flange. In an effective embodiment, the inertial mass element is a turbine. In another embodiment, the first damper stage is a damper stage at an outer side in the radial direction, and the second damper stage is a damper stage at an inner side in the radial direction. Further in the other embodiment, the torsion damper forms a frictional moment in its rotation.
