Abstract:
To provide a torque converter which achieves downsizing.SOLUTION: A torque converter 1 includes: a lock-up piston 11; a lock-up flange 12; a hydraulic chamber 13 provided between the lock-up piston 11 and the lock-up flange 12 and is independent from an interior of the torque converter 1; an output shaft 14; a converter case 15; a center piece 16 coupled to the converter case 15 and a crank shaft 20 of an engine; and an accumulator 17 communicating with the interior of the torque converter 1.
