To provide a torque damper of a hydraulic power transmission capable of improving torque dampening characteristics by suppressing friction generated between a roller and an intermediate spring seat member as much as possible.
At both ends of an intermediate spring seat member 45, a pair of spring seats 45a for supporting the ends of two coil springs 43 and a pair of connection shafts 45b protruded from both spring seats to fit to the end inner peripheral surfaces of the two coil springs 43 are formed. On both side faces of the intermediate spring seat member 45, a pair of roller housing recesses 47 is opened toward the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical housing 31. A bearing hole 48 is formed in a partition wall 45c between both roller housing recesses 47. A roller 50 includes a shaft 50a and a pair of rollers 50b coaxially arranged at both ends of the shaft 50a. The shaft 50a is rotatably supported the bearing hole 48, and both rollers 50b are housed contactlessly in both roller housing recesses 47 to rotatably abut on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical housing 31.
