Title:
TORQUE DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3791253
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire precisely an abnormal signal outputted from a signal processing circuit, and execute smoothly interruption control for a control operation of an EPS(electrically-driven power steering) controller.
SOLUTION: A sensor circuit signal Sa is taken out as a measuring signal Sc through filters 17, 19, and existence of the oscillation state is confirmed by a signal monitoring circuit part 22. If oscillation is generated, the output value of a torque detection signal St is attenuated gradually toward a neutral potential by a control circuit part 23, and finally a high-level or low-level abnormal generated signal is outputted toward an EPS controller, to thereby stop power assist control on the EPS controller side. As torque energization is reduced gradually, a control operation of the EPS controller can be interrupted without a sense of incompatibility in a steering operation.
