Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of hammering noises through interference of a stopper at the resonance time of a coupling.
CONSTITUTION: A coupling 2 has a pulley 22 connected to an outer periphery of a hub 1 installed on a crank shaft, through a first elastomer member 21. A torsional damper part 3 has a circular mass 32 connected to the outer periphery of the hub 1 through a second elastomer member 31, and has a characteristic frequency different from the coupling 2. Stoppers 6 are installed both on the first elastomer member 21 and the torsional damper part 3, and interferred with each other through circumferentially relative displacement. The stopper 6 is composed of, for instance, a hole 61 or a recession formed on the first elastomer member 21, and a projection 62 formed on the second elastomer member 31 and loosely fitted to the hole 61 or the recession.
