To provide a torque limiter capable of reducing the man-hour by allowing an inner ring or the like to be easily disassembled, and reducing the material cost and the manufacturing cost of components by reusing the disassembled inner ring or the like, and a method for reusing the same.
In the torque limiter 1 having an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a lid member 5, and a coil spring 4, an expansion part 11 to be expanded via a stepped face 2a directed in the axial direction is provided on an end of an inside diameter surface of the inner ring 2. The stepped face 2a forms an abutting face of a tool 12 which moves the inner ring 2 with respect to the outer ring 3 in the axial direction, and detaches it. An engaging means 6 is provided for transmitting the axial movement of the inner ring 2 when it is detached to the lid member 5.
