To provide a torque limiter capable of restraining the occurrence of dispersion in slipping torque caused by dispersion in characteristics of an elastic member or dispersion in dimensions of friction members or the like held together with the elastic member.
The torque limiter 120 transmits torque between a hub 110 and an intermediate member 112 utilizing frictional force applied to friction plates 121, 122 by alternately laminating the first friction plates 121 engaged with a second support member 124 connected to the hub 110, and the second friction plates 122 engaged with the intermediate member 112, and holding the friction plates together with a plate spring 125. An adjusting member 150 changeable in thickness is held to the torque limiter 120 together with the friction plates 121, 122 and the plate spring 125.
