Abstract:

To provide an economical torque limiter exhibiting enhanced torque properties.

The torque limiter 1 is provided with a first rotating body 2 having a cylindrical outer peripheral part, a second rotating body 3 having a cylindrical inner peripheral part and arranged on a same axis with the first rotating body 2 so as to be rotatable with each other, a cylindrical permanent magnet 4 fixed on the cylindrical outer peripheral part of the first rotating body 2, and a cylindrical hysteresis material 5 fixed on the cylindrical inner peripheral part of the second rotating body 3 and generating hysteresis torque between the permanent magnet 4 and it. The cylindrical hysteresis material 5 is a casting ring having a machined or ground inner peripheral part.
