To provide a torque limiter with improved durability.
This torque limiter 1 includes a power transmission disk 2, a cam 6, a plurality of rolling elements 5, an intermediate member 4, a rolling element pressing spring 3 and a friction ring 8. The power transmission disk 2 includes a case 2C, and the cam 6 is arranged inside the case 2C. The plurality of rolling elements 5 are arranged between an inner peripheral part of the power transmission disk 2 and an outer peripheral part of the cam 6. The intermediate member 4 is arranged between the rolling elements 5 and the power transmission disk 2, and is movably constituted in the radial direction of the power transmission disk 2 by engaging with the power transmission disk 2. The rolling element pressing spring 3 applies force toward the cam 6 from the power transmission disk 2 to the intermediate member 4. The friction ring 8 is an annular member, and is constituted so that the inner peripheral part engages with the outer peripheral part of the cam 6, and can move in the parallel direction to a rotary shaft of the power transmission disk 2.
