Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enlarge the setting range for the operating torque of a torque limiter by furnishing a ring-shaped pressure means to press the outside surface of a drive shaft between driven members with a specific pressure, and by arranging a pressure regulating member to compress it in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:In a torque limiter 5 including a drive shaft 6 and a driven member 16, a ring-shaped pressure means 15 is arranged between the outside surface of drive shaft 6 and the inside surface of driven member 16. Compression is made by a pressure regulating element 22 axially with a specific pressure. Accordingly the limiter operating torque can be set in good precision by the degree of pressure to make compression in the axial direction.
