Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a torque limit valve adjustable in a stepless manner, by installing a retainer which holds a fixed ring, being the same shaft with a sun shaft and and inscribed to a planetary roller, and this planetary roller and transmits a revolution to an output flange. CONSTITUTION:Turning force to be inputted into a sun shaft 1 is transmitted to an output flange 5 from a retainer 4 via contact pressure between the sun shaft 1 and a planetary roller 2 as well as between this planetary roller 2 and a fixed ring 3. And, when load torque grows larger than a certain set value, there is produced a slip in a contact part whereby torque transmission is topped. When this limit torque value moves an outer ring 3a of the fixed ring 3 in the axial direction by pressure-contact force regulating screw 6, since the outer ring 3a is restrained in the radial direction by a casing 7, it varies pressure- contact force between an inner ring 3b and the planetary roller 2 via a taper surface whereby it is adjusted. Thus, the limit value of torque is easily settable in a stepless manner, and if the load torque becomes smaller, transmission is reset at once.
