Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a torque limiter with which it is possible to improve the durability of an inner ring member and reduce torque fluctuation. [Solution] A coil spring (12) is wound around an inner ring member (11), formed by pressing metal, so as to create frictional force with the outer surface of the inner ring member (11); an outer ring member (13) provided to the outer side of the inner ring member (11) interlocks an end of the coil spring (12) on the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring member (13) and supports the inner ring member (11); and the space between the outer surface of the inner ring member (11) and the coil spring (12) is coated using a straight-chain fluorine grease having a dynamic viscosity equal to or less than a prescribed value to lubricate the contact surfaces thereof.
