To secure waterproof performance in a torque measuring device that is used by being attached to a fastening tool.SOLUTION: A torque measuring device comprises: a strain-inducing body of a substantially shaft shape; a transmission part provided at an end in the axial direction of the strain-inducing body and transmitting input and -output between a fastening tool and a fastening member; a strain detection part provided in the strain-inducing body and electrically detecting a strain quantity generated in the strain-inducing body; a casing formed by joining a plurality of members and housing the strain-inducing body and the strain detection part; an opening part provided in the casing for exposing the transmission part to the outside; a first seal member formed of an elastic member, surrounding the strain-inducing body in its circumferential direction at a position between the transmission part and the strain detection part in the axial direction and blocking between the opening part and the strain-inducing body; and a second seal member formed of an elastic member softer than the first seal member, provided along joining parts of the plurality of members of the casing and blocking between the casing and the strain-inducing body by making contacting with the first seal member between the casing and the strain-inducing body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
