Title:
TORQUE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000014063
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque motor which can surely fix and protect the permanent magnet of a rotor with a simple structure.

This torque motor is provided with a cover 35 made of a metal of magnetic material such as iron, around a rotor. The cover 35 is equipped with a cylindrical part 351 covering the periphery of permanent magnets 33a and 34a, and end face parts 352 and 353 provided at both ends in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 351. The end face parts 352 and 353 contact with the end face in the axial direction of a rotor core 32, and the end face parts 352 and 353 cover the end faces in the axial direction of the permanent magnets 33a and 34a. Therefore, the permanent magnets 33a and 34a are covered such that they do not contact directly with the outside air by the cover 35. This prevents the permanent magnets 33a and 34a from breaking or coming off the rotor core 32, and besides prevents rust of the permanent magnets 33a and 34a.
