Title:
TORQUE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11285221
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque motor which is capable of staining smooth torque characteristics without generating torque ripples.

One of the poles of a rotor 41 is formed by a group of magnets 43, 46, which consists of a plurality of flat plate magnets 43a, 46a, and the other pole is formed by a group of magnets 44, 47 which consists of a plurality of flat plate magnets 44a, 47a. The flat plate magnets 43a and 46a are shifted in the circumferential direction of the rotor 41 by a half of magnet pitch θA, and the flat plate magnets 44a and 47a are displaced circumferentially along the rotor 41 by a half of magnet pitch θA. Consequently, when the center of the flat plate magnets 43a, 44a corresponds to the edge of the pole of a stator core to generate large torque, the edges of the flat plate magnets 46a, 47a correspond to the edge of the pole of the stator core to generate small torque. It is thus possible to cancel torque ripples with each other, thereby obtaining almost constant torque within the range of a prescribed rotational angle.
