Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine a small ball torsion spring and a large ball spring rate in designing a torque rod having such a flat characteristic that a transmission characteristic transmitted from a large ball to a vehicle body side is less than 100 N/mm.SOLUTION: A torque rod includes a small ball part connected to an engine, a large ball part connected to a vehicle body, and a rod part connecting the small ball part and the large ball part. The large ball part includes an outside member connected to the rod part, an inside member connected to the vehicle body, and a large ball elastic member connected them. On the basis of a transmission characteristic map obtained by mapping the transmission characteristic of the torque rod in which a rod length, a small torsion spring, a large ball spring and a large ball spring rate are preliminarily determined as parameters, a combination of parameters is selected so that the transmission characteristic is less than 100 N/mm.
