Abstract:
Temperature compensation device for a torque sensor (1) comprises a pair of coils (11, 12) connected to an alternating power supply via transistors. The torque is determined from the difference between the induced voltages of the two coils, which acts in opposing directions. The temperature compensation device comprises a correction voltage extraction means for extracting of a temperature compensation voltage from between the connections to the two transistors and use of the voltage to correct the torque moment measurement.
