Title:
TORQUE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010091316
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque sensor which ensures the mounting position accuracy of flux concentrating rings with respect to a housing and the circularity of the flux concentrating rings without decreasing the magnetic characteristics of the flux concentrating rings and in which the flux concentrating rings face each other with predetermined clearance in the rotational radial direction of a rotational magnetic circuit.

A housing 30 is formed with a cylindrical surface 35 into which first and second flux concentrating rings 91, 92 are fit. The torque sensor further includes a spacer 100 placed between the first and second flux concentrating rings 91, 92, a bushing 110 placed so that the second flux concentrating ring 92 is held between it and the spacer 100, and a bushing biasing means for pressing the bushing 110 against the cylindrical surface 35.
