Title:
TORQUE TESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3458938
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of quality evaluation by providing a plurality of measuring elements for torque detecting part which are fitted to a fitting jig a specified distance away from a rotary spindle and by making them rotation symmetrical to the spindle at an equal angle.
SOLUTION: A bearing to be measured, which is inserted into a holding case 101 and constitutes a fulcrum, is provided with a fulcrum arm 106, which is secured with a fitting screw 104 by inserting it to its inner ring. The fulcrum bearing is connected to a motor through a collet, and a force working on a pair of symmetrical torque detection parts 110-1 and 110-2 is measured by a load cell when they are made contact with a pin 120 between the fulcrum arm 106 and pin 120, and then the obtained value is determined as a torque of inner ring of fulcrum bearing. Thanks to such a structure, the loads of the torque detection parts 110-1 and 110-2 are balanced horizontally, and even when a rotary central axis 201 is inclined against a vertical line 200 at the time of setting, the outputs of the torque detection parts 110-1 and 110-2 are summed, thereby eliminating an influence on torque measurement.
