To provide a torque transmission device of a compressor for reducing even generation of an abnormal sound caused by operation of a torque limiter, by reducing intrusion of foreign matter even from clearance generated in a rupture part after operating the torque limiter from an elongate hole between the rupture parts before operating the torque limiter, by preventing falling-off of a part for constituting the torque transmission device after operating the torque limiter.
This torque transmission device comprises a pulley 2, a hub part 3, a first disk part 4 and a second disk part 5. The first disk part 4 is provided with the rupture part 20 for rupturing when transmission torque received by the pulley 2 becomes predetermined torque or more. This rupture part 20 is relatively arranged in close vicinity to a driving shaft 12. The driving shaft side end of the second disk part 20 is positioned closer to the driving shaft 12 side than the rupture part 20. The second disk part 5 is also provided with a recess part 13 recessed over a part opposed to the rupture part 20 from a peripheral edge part of a through-hole 9 for inserting the hub part 3.
